This is the decision regarding the female descent of Lake Louise, due to the heavy snowfall that struck the town in the state of Alberta; a well-considered choice, as a complete test was held yesterday and for Thursday, again at 8.30 pm, a final training session is scheduled with improved weather.
The chief race director of the women's sector, the Tarvisian Peter Gerdol, has therefore opted for this solution, in view of the races scheduled on Friday and Saturday (double descent), with the super-g that on Sunday will then close the speed program for the Cup of the feminine world.
Federica Brignone, who had decided to skip the first race to take part in the second race today, will have to wait tomorrow for a good training session on the Men''s Olympic, thinking of Sunday's super-g in which she wants to do well.
