The women's European Cup is over: final slalom in Guest, regrets Gulli and trophy in Monsen

At Reiteralm the last act of the season, with the British taking the race, while the Turin exits in the final when the first career podium was very close. The Norwegian Marte Monsen wins the general: Midali ninth and best blue in today's slalom as well as in the final classification (eighth).

The 2020/21 European Cup ended with the women's slalom in Reiteralm, signing the verdicts of a troubled season in terms of calendar especially in the first part, but eventually brought home with some regularity. It is Charlie Guest who takes the last race, for her first seasonal success and third of her career on the continental circuit: the 27-year-old British burned Elsa Fermbaeck by 7 cents, in the lead after the first heat, with the Austrian Sporer third at + 0 ”44, more than a second ahead of the young Swedish Rask and Ceder, fourth and fifth. There in the middle, with the dream of the first podium in the European Cup, there could really be Anita Gulli, who came out in the final of the heats after having placed the fourth time in the first and while she was disputing a second always at an excellent level. The best blue is therefore Roberta Midali, 9 ^ at 2 "15 from the winner, with Insam 13th, Mathiou 17th arriving directly from Lenzerheide, where yesterday she made her debut in a World Cup slalom, Viviani 18th (losing 9 positions compared to 1 ^ manche) and Unterholzner 28th. A specialty cup is on file that sees Andreja Slokar win the slalom ranking ahead of Lara Della Mea, who still takes the permanent position despite the stop due to the injury in Cortina, while the Slovenian (absent today) finishes second place in the general, beaten by the Norwegian Mars Monsen who yesterday had triumphed in giant.
