Snow control in the last few hours and confirmed women's stage of the World Cup: after the Olympics, it will be a crucial appointment for Sofia in defending her specialty leadership.

Crans-Montana is a special place for Sofia Goggia, who on Mont Lachaux has won three career times, as many as Lake Louise (all this season) and Val d''Isère, but in the case of the Canadian and French resorts with a seal in super-g.
The only descent won three times, between 2019 and the double in 2021 (the encore saw Elena Curtoni accompany her on the podium in third place), is precisely the one in the Canton of Valais that will return, with a double appointment like a year ago (when a super-g was also disputed, dominated by Lara Gut-Behrami with Brignone third), next February 26-27.

After missing Garmisch and with three races still on the calendar, given that after Crans-Montana there will be only the descent of the Courchevel-Méribel finals, Goggia defends 69 points over Corinne Suter and it is clear that the physical state of the Bergamo-born, after the miraculous Olympic attempt, it will be crucial.
