Only two qualified blue, with Irene Curtoni who was satisfied with a 13th place on average with the seasonal results of the captain of a national slalom who certainly cannot smile on the night of Flachau, even if the happy note comes from the first qualifying in career (in the seventh World Cup race) of 20-year-old Marta Rossetti, 30th ex-aequo with the Japanese Ando and with a track to be used in the second round set at 8.45 pm.
After bringing three athletes to points in the last two races in Lienz and Zagreb, Matteo Guadagnini's team saw all the other youngsters out of the 30 of the first round who, on a track already in precarious conditions (but the qualification was objectively feasible) they failed to express themselves at best, starting from Lara Della Mea out for 7 cents and with Martina Peterlini who did not repeat after the amazing top 15 on the Sljeme.
On the other hand, Anita Gulli's race was bitter, very fast up to the middle of the track, only to lose those decisive tenths to stay out of 20 cents. "I played a good heat for two thirds, then I got off the line on the final bump and I had to make a number to stay on the track - Curtoni's words in the parterre after his test - I'm still in the top ten area, it is important for play it in the second ".
