A penny cost the engagement to Deborah Compagnoni, at 16 wins and therefore at the top of the Italian winners in the history of the World Cup, but above all a penny, the one that divided her from Nina Ortlieb, who deprived of a historical triumph in front of the home crowd.
The super-g of La Thuile, however, remains a very positive race for Federica Brignone, who took 80 fundamental points to get closer to the general World Cup, now only eight races away and with Mikaela Shiffrin at 153 points, with Petra Vlhova at -189.

And then there is another blue, Elena Curtoni, in the top 10: the Valtellinese has some regrets for her seventh position. “Maybe a lower starting number would have been important, the snow that fell yesterday made the track stickier and it's a shame, because it's such a beautiful slope.
