Few news, but some very significant. Like the inclusion of Roberta Midali in the slalom group led by Devid Salvadori (together with the young Gulli, Viviani and Mathiou), after the excellent signals launched in CdM by the Bergamo-based last year, but also that of Karoline Pichler in the multi-purpose group of World Cup (in place of Verena Gasslitter, out of the national teams). The blue organic of the women's sector for the 2021/22 season therefore sees the ''94 class return through the main door, inserted in an important team such as the one managed by Giovanni Feltrin; for "Karo" it is really a huge chance to demonstrate, as it has failed in the past also for the many injuries remedied, all the talent that already emerged with the silver at the Jasna junior world championships, in that giant of 2014 edition that saw Marta Bassino win in front of her compatriot. The last season saw the South Tyrolean find herself starting from the results in the European Cup, immediately with very high bib numbers and then, once there in front, able to get on the podium twice in the last races, from 3rd place in the giant of Livigno at the 2nd of the following week in the super-g in Val di Fassa. Previously, he had found a bib in the World Cup on "his" Erta (touching the qualification for the 2nd heat in the giant at the end of January at Kronplatz), where in January 2019 he obtained the best result of his career with a 16th place that he had given hope that he had already seen the real Pichler again. The seasonal closure with the tricolor bronze between the wide doors in Livigno, behind Bassino and Brignone, crowned a 2020/21 that earned her the pass for the return to the national team.
