A ransom came 12 months after a terrible accident in training, when Nakiska was preparing her first World Cup races that would take place in Lake Louise and she found herself with the crusader and the collateral of the right knee knocked out. Luana Fluetsch graduated Swiss champion for the first time, taking the national super-g title on the snows of Davos, on the day that concluded the Swiss event at least at the women's level, since no downhill races will be held (not even for men ) and the men's sector will then complete the 2020 championships next week, with super-g and combined scheduled for 3-4 December in Zinal. Fluetsch, a 25-year-old native of the Canton of Grisons, beat Katja Grossmann, who yesterday won the Alpine Combined title, and Alexandra Walz, fourth overall in the race behind the very young Austrian Victoria Olivier (born in 2004), who finished third. And in the test valid also as FIS, there were several blue in the race: starting with Federica Sosio (remember, she has not been part of national groups since last summer), still the best of the Italian home given that the Valtellinese finished 16th like 24 hours earlier in the super-g of a combined that had then finished eighth. Twentieth place today instead for Jole Galli, just ahead of Monica Zanoner, with Giulia Albano 28th and Federica Lani 30th.
