A joy expected by that inaugural giant of the 2018/19 season, when Tessa Worley won for the first time on Soelden's Rettenbach. Then again knee problems and the feeling that one of the greatest gigantists in history would never return to her impressive levels that had led her to the double world title in Schladming and Sankt Moritz, as well as winning thirteen times in the World Cup.
From today they are 14 (third overall ever behind Vreni Schneider at 20 and Annemarie Moser-Proell with 16), after the gem of the second heat on the "Erta" of Kronplatz which is the perfect track for the characteristics of the transalpina, but which in the three previous editions had seen it forced to settle for two second places behind Brignone (2017) and Shiffrin (2019).
