Alpine Skiingfemale world cup
The second fast race in Lake Louise keeps the Czech red bib. In the Cup overall, Mikaela has already made a void.

An encore descent that allowed Ester Ledecka, fourth at only two cents from the splendid podium of Francesca Marsaglia, to defend the red bib won the previous day with the first victory in the World Cup.
Behind the 24-year-old Czech, in the specialty ranking that includes nine overall tests, there is now the holder of the crystal ball Nicole Schmidhofer, in triumph for the third time in Lake Louise, a very solid Corinne Suter (second and fifth) and Mikaela Shiffrin, who keeps the project of fighting for all the cups up for grabs.
If Francesca Marsaglia is eighth with 65 points, she is called to reassemble since the appointment in Val d''Isère, in two weeks time, a Sofia Goggia distanced by 88 lengths from the summit. The Bergamo has instead climbed a position in the specialty WCSL, while Nicol Delago in turn has lost two positions (from the 7th to the 9th) with today's release, as Ilka Stuhec is losing ground, again distant from the best .
The overall standings of the World Cup, on the other hand, is more and more a solo of Mikaela Shiffrin, already with 270 points of margin on Michelle Gisin, disappointing in the two Canadian descents, and with at least ten athletes very close from the third position of Ledecka onwards.
