Lindsey Vonn: "Yesterday I did not try at all costs to take the door that I jumped. I knew how I'd arrived and I took a bit 'of space in order to gain speed on that stretch. I did not think too much. E 'was great. I came down and I cried. I worked hard to come back and, you know, I feel like sometimes I was so came back in a hurry, everyone forgets how much time and energy, blood, sweat and tears it takes to return without any training and only jumping beyond the gate. And I had faith in myself and in my team and my engineer, and we all did our best and today was just amazing. I'm so happy, but I only took two races to get back on the top step. I mean, honestly, after Zauchensee did not know how long it would take me and today I proved to myself that all the work I've done has paid off. "
Lara Gut: "I am very happy because I know I can be close to victory as often as I can ski like I know."
Viktoria Rebensburg: "I knew from the evidence I would have been happy here, but in the race I was not feeling that great, I think because the track was faster than yesterday. Hence the curves came a lot faster then I thought 'I'm really down', but I was fast, I tried to let it go skiing and yes, I am very happy. I mean, it's always very nice to be on the podium. For sure, it was quite a while '' I was not there downhill. I think it was maybe a year ago, the 'last time. I do not know (and in fact the last time was the third place right in Garmisch 6 February 2016, editor's note). So it's super once again be on the podium. Surely, we are now at the end of January, so I think it's also a good time to be on the podium ".
