Conditions ok and start confirmed at 9.15 for the super-g that will kick off the first women's alpine combined this season.
On the Gamskogel in Zauchensee everything is ready for a speed race, designed by the blue technician Giovanni Feltrin, which will then be combined with the slalom scheduled at 11.45, without reversing the 30 as per the new formula officially tested with men, two weeks ago in Bormio.
There are at least five big favorites for success: Wendy Holdener will start with bib number 7, followed by Federica Brignone with 9, Petra Vlhova with 11, Michelle Gisin with 15 and Mikaela Shiffrin with 21.

There are six blue in the race: in addition to Brignone, with the number 8 there will be Nicol Delago, back from the third podium of his career and also looking for a good combined (the Val Gardena slalom is not bad ...), here is Marta Bassino with on 19 (already on the podium in Lenzerheide in this discipline), Sofia Goggia with 22, Nadia Delago with 27 and Elena Curtoni with number 34. 47 athletes are registered, with Alice Robinson at the start for the penultimate.
