It will be a great show, not only for the duel up front between Mikaela Shiffrin and Katharina Liensberger, divided by only 19 cents, but also for the expected comeback of Petra Vlhova, who made a mistake in the start of the first heat by finishing 27th.
The second of Are's slalom bis promises to be full of ideas, with the Slovak cup leader called to take home heavy points both for the general and to defend the primacy in the specialty classification, with the same Shiffrin and Liensberger ready to approach first of the Lenzerheide finals.

Only Irene Curtoni qualified for the 2nd heat in Italy, with the Valtellinese 18th at 2 ”29 from Shiffrin. Martina Peterlini was excluded (34th) and therefore is already out of the game for the Lenzerheide finals, with the double zero in the two Swedish slalom.
