The female parallel of Lech / Zuers has reached its decisive phase, after the morning qualification which reduced the lot of contenders to only 16 athletes.
Under the lights of the Flexenarena spotlight, it starts again from the round of 16 with round-trip matches for each direct match, up to the final that will award 100 points in the only test for this discipline in the World Cup season.
With the two leading blue still fighting, that is Marta Bassino and Federica Brignone, a Lara Gut-Behrami able to sign the best time in the morning in front of Sara Hector and Petra Vlhova, who perhaps remains the main favorite for a possible trio after the Levi's slalom. Any surprise, however, is really possible in a PGS to be experienced on NEVEITALIA, starting at 5.45 pm following the FIS live timing.

Marta Bassino will see her in her eighth with Katharina Liensberger, a very uncomfortable customer who signed the 13th time in the qualifying phase, against the 4th of the Piedmontese who is on the side of the scoreboard of Lara Gut-Behrami (who will cross Coralie Frasse -Sombet) and would eventually find her in the semifinals, with the previous hypothetical quarter-final against the winner of the duel between the American Moltzan (very brilliant this morning) and the Polish Gasienica-Daniel.
For Federica Brignone, 11th in the first phase, a clash with another Austrian: Franziska Gritsch will be the rival of the Aosta Valley, who would then immediately find Petra Vlhova (already flanked in the qualifying heats) in the quarter-finals. The Slovakian will make her debut in the second round with the Dutch Adriana Jelinkova.
