Live we had already had this feeling, but the photos that sent us a viewer of the female giant of the World Cup of Maribor have confirmed that the chronometer of Mikaela Shiffrin has stopped well beyond the finish line.

This photo, taken from the race that we have just reviewed, would show that Shiffrin when he crosses the finish line is at least three tenths ahead of Petra Vlhova. The timing error is very evident but then why stop the chronometer at the same time as the Slovak? What's the pros? Mystery.
