Eight athletes competing on Saturday in Vermont in the second race after Soelden: Brignone defends the victory 12 months ago.

We return to Killington, a year after the triumph of Federica Brignone who, right in the giant on the "Superstar", beating all wore for the first time the red bib of leader of the specialty.

For the slalom, Italy below quota with five athletes at the starting gate: these are Curtoni, Brignone, Midali, Della Mea and Peterlini. If among the narrow poles, the Italians have never been on the podium in the three previous editions of the race in Vermont, the two third places of Sofia Goggia in 2016 and Manuela Moelgg have arrived, in addition to the first place of Brignone in 2018, ''next year.
