Word to the revelation of the last season in pink: at 23, the Gardena downhill skier is already a certainty.

Nicol Delago has made great strides in recent months, already coming one step closer to success and now consistently at the top of world speed. After that incredible 2nd place in the descent of the house, the recovery went on stage in her Val Gardena and on that Saslong that she has traveled hundreds of times, Nicol has confirmed herself even though often committing various errors that have affected other great results. Very normal considering age and experience to mature, but the speed in the feet to impose themselves already at the highest level is now evident, as confirmed also by the medal touched at the world championships in Are (6th place downhill, ed). At the FIS communication office, the young Gardena spoke about herself revealing how the quality of the women's national team represents a fundamental aspect of her performance: â€œI think it is important to constantly grow and consolidate, step by step as I have done since my beginnings in 2015 and with the first results in the European Cup. The World Cup has taught me a lot, but even more my companions, a true source of inspiration and able to help me enormously ". The podium in Val Gardena gave Nicol unique emotions: â€œIt was like living a movie, a simply incredible swirl of emotions. I tried to live it to the fullest, before the race, like when I was a child eating breakfast, I was climbing with my father ... Then the podium arrived, in front of all my family and my country. Crazy". The young blue star comes from a family of skiers, just think of her sister Nadia who made her debut last season at the World Cup by her side, but there are many sports practiced since childhood, from tennis to horseback riding to mountain bike and now climbing. They complete the training and are fun, on the other hand my Val Gardena is simply perfect to do all this â€.
