Three days after Val d''Isère, which was able to breathe a good sigh of relief with the confirmation of its seven races, in the context of the traditional Critérium de la Première Neige, Courchevel can also rejoice.
The Haute-Savoie station will regularly host the two female World Cup giants, scheduled on the Stade Emile-Allais on the weekend of 12-13 December; the health protocol presented was approved by the FIS, with the two specialty races following the Soelden event, which will obviously be staged behind closed doors and without areas provided for partners and hospitality.
Now the crux becomes that of snowmaking, although in the next few days we should proceed to the production of artificial snow: the times of the races will be the same both on Saturday and Sunday, with the first run at 9.30 and the second at 12.30 . And the blue, among other things with the memory of Federica Brignone triumphant in Courchevel a little less than a year ago, will present themselves at that weekend at the top of the Giant's World Cup after the one-two in Soelden with Marta Bassino winner in front of the Aosta Valley.
