The auction with the 12 memorabilia by Federica Brignone starts: from skis to technical equipment, up to the cup for hire

From today on eBay, unique pieces will be available to support Athletics Sandro Calvesi: "I do it for a club that represents the true values of sport".

A champion who takes the field to make an important contribution to grassroots sport and in particular to the amateur one, affected like so many sectors by the Coronavirus health emergency in this dramatic moment that the world is experiencing also in terms of economic crisis. Federica Brignone, with the support of Sky (who will host it tonight starting at 7pm on SkySport24 for the launch of the initiative) and the eBay online auction platform, has decided to donate 12 unique memorabilia including the ' clothing, technical equipment and everything she used in this last beautiful and winning season that led her to conquer the World Cup. Among the objects also the Breitling watch and the Rossignol giant slalom skis with which he won the specialty cup in addition to the general one, becoming the first Italian athlete to win it and setting the new points record in Italy exceeding Alberto Tomba. In addition to the 12 items auctioned on eBay, Federica will make available the splendid and imposing general World Cup (crystal weighing 7 kg and a half) against an offer, to be displayed in rotation in the Companies o Clubs with the aim of spreading a message of restart, victory and positive energy. The 12 memorabilia will be available from 7pm on Monday and for a week, with the proceeds entirely donated to the Sandro Calvesi Amateur Sports Athletic Association, CONI's gold medal for Sporting Merit, active since 1966. The Aosta Valley champion has decided to support athletics because she believes it is the basic discipline and has chosen the Calvesi association where she started playing sports as a child and where, when she is at home, she still comes back to train. “I am really happy to be able to make myself useful for amateur sport and I think that what Lyana Calvesi (President of the Association) does for boys and for athletics is really what I mean as the true essence of sport. Passion, involvement and fun without ulterior motives ”, Federica's words. “The funds raised will be used to continue to enroll the children in difficulty for free and to give them the uniform of the club so that they feel the same as everyone else. I need to buy tools, pay for travel, pay for the use of the facilities, find prizes to organize the races - explains Lyana Calvesi - I could go on for a long time, even a small amount I guarantee that it will go well to repay with all the heart Federica and all those who will participate in the auction ".
