Petra Vlhova skies again in Jasna and dad Igor announces: "In the coming days the official status of the coach"

Igor Vlha, on the occasion of the conference for the launch of the "new" Slovak federation, explained that the choice had been made. Meanwhile, Klaus Mayrhofer travels back to Austria (to work with downhill skiers).

More than three weeks have passed since the announcement of the separation between Petra Vlhova and Livio Magoni and the winner of the World Cup is still looking for the new head coach in her staff, substantially to be rebuilt with the farewell, in addition to the Bergamo coach, of the skiman Gigi Parravicini and of the other two coaches Matej Gemza and Matteo Baldissarutti. In any case, we have chosen the best for our possibilities and I hope that Team Vlhova can continue to make everyone happy in Slovakia ”, concluded father Igor, obviously not revealing the name of the chosen one. Considering that Klaus Mayrhofer, according to the latest info we have received, seems to be headed back to Austria to work with the descent group, after only one year of experience in Switzerland and the early divorce with Wendy Holdener, and Matej Gemza himself " he told us he didn't feel ready for such a role yet ”, while Paolo Deflorian had already said“ no ”last week, the names that have been around for some time remain standing, namely those of Mauro Pini and Andrea Massi. In the meantime Petra continues to ski in Jasna and the goal, reaffirmed by Igor Vlha himself, is to support the new technician on the track as early as next May 15th. The signature, however, should arrive in the next 48-72 hours.
