A race with several unknowns, for the return of the women's World Cup to Bansko after almost five years, but also an Italian national team that is in great shape and with the right credentials to play for a great result. This is how the first of the two descents scheduled in the Bulgarian resort is presented, on Friday starting from 9.45 am Italian time (10.45 am local time) for the fourth seasonal specialty event, recovery of the race skipped in Val d''IsÃ¨re. So we will see what Sofia Goggia will do, the first of the nine blue in the race: bib number 5 for the Olympian, still looking for the first seasonal podium in the discipline and called to open a fundamental triptych in his run-up to the crystal balls of the speed. In addition to Sofy and Fede, with 9 there is Nicol Delago (he seemed in difficulty on such a technical and steep track in the central section, but the Gardena knows how to turn into a race), with 10 Francesca Marsaglia, 23 for Elena Curtoni and attention with 31 to Marta Bassino, who could amaze on the day of his return to the race even downhill. Finally Nadia Delago with the bib number 35, Laura Pirovano with the 43 and Verena Gasslitter with the 49.
