Alice Robinson wants to grow fast and seems ready to dive into speed, even in World Cup races.
After the difficulties encountered in Soelden, with the mess in the second heat costing the chance to fight for the podium, and an intense work session in Val Senales thinking about "his" giant, during the training he is carrying out in these days on the snows of Saas-Fee, the phenomenal New Zealander born in 2001 (she will celebrate 19 years on 1st December) has also put downhill skis on her feet for the first time. “It was fun”, smiled in social media Alice, who has already accumulated a good experience in super-g.
Robinson, in fact, made his debut last season in CdM in Garmisch (coming out on the first wall of Kandahar), even if previously he had already participated in the combined Altenmarkt-Zauchensee, but he already boasts level results in the minor circuits, with the double top ten in the super-g of the European Cup in Val Sarentino, last February, 4th place at the World Junior Championships in Narvik and a 2nd place, again in the continental circuit, in the SG of Sella Nevea in 2019.
We will certainly see her at the start of the two super-gs of Sankt Moritz, scheduled in Engadine on 5-6 December, then after the giants of Courchevel, fundamental in the fight for the specialty cup (true seasonal goal together with the Cortina World Championships), here that Alice could take part in the Val d''Isère weekend, with the two runs and the super-g on the Oreiller-Killy to test herself in practice and then evaluate which races to participate in.
