The comment by Nicol Delago, Federica Brignone and Francesca Marsaglia, who came second, seventh and eighteenth respectively in today's supergiant of Lake Louise.
Nicol Delago: "Skiing is really strange, in these days I was aiming for my downhill chances where I thought I had a good chance of getting a good result, in the end I climbed onto the podium in the least expected specialty ... I left the game free of expectations, I only thought about having fun. In the last piece of fluency I realized that I could make a difference, I thank the coaches who on this occasion gave me the right advice and my skiman who put on my feet very fast skis ".
Federica Brignone: "It was a good race on a very easy track. Unfortunately I made so many mistakes in the upper part and I played a better position, but I'm satisfied. I only thought about being smooth, I was very aggressive on all support, I wanted to do well because I came all the way to Canada just to do well. The conditions weren't easy for my characteristics, I'm satisfied in general, I can't wait to do other races because I took a taste for it, to starting next Saturday in St. Moritz, where certainly the track will be more difficult technically. Moreover the supergiant is my favorite specialty ".
Francesca Marsaglia: "Certainly I find positive aspects also in today's race. Until halfway through the race I was in the first positions, on the wall I behaved well drawing the line that I had set for myself, on the other hand I wanted to make direct lines and ended up in the signs, it was not the best strategy, but I am convinced that sooner or later I'll make it even in supergiant "
