The rankings after two races: the situation does not change in the first slalom group after Levi's opening.

The season opening slalom, staged on "Levi Black", starts Mikaela Shiffrin's first mini seasonal break, at the top of the overall World Cup standings with 80 margin points over Alice Robinson, who he had beaten in the giant of Soelden and should (unless sensational surprises) give up the Killington weekend.
In third place then Wendy Holdener rises to 96, compared to the 180 of the American champion, but beyond the scores of course all still to be calibrated, attention to the good loot (69 points) collected by Michelle Gisin in not his races. The Swiss is one of the most serious candidates at the final podium, while Petra Vlhova today lost a wonderful chance after only 18 points collected in Soelden.
The slalom ranking, of course, sees Shiffrin commanding on Holdener and Truppe, with Swenn Larsson fourth at 50 points and in fifth place the excellent Nina Haver-Loeseth seen on his return.
Chapter Slalom WCSL: nothing changes in view of the next race in Killington (December 1st), with the seven of the first sub-group that will remain the same (Schild will still be out and Hansdotter is withdrawn), while Irene Curtoni drops from the 13th to the 14th place, but remains in the top 15 even with very little margin on Duerr and Mielzynski.
