Now Mikaela Shiffrin is really close to writing one of the most beautiful pages, that of total triumphs in World Cup races, perhaps not only at the female level. After the top five on the Sljeme hill, in the sixth seasonal slalom staged in Zagreb, the 27-year-old American wrote 81 in the box of successes in the maximum circuit, -1 from Lindsey Vonn who could already hook tomorrow, when there will be an encore of the ''appointment with the “Snow Queen Trophy”.
And she is once again the queen in the Croatian capital, if we think that she hasn't imposed herself here for four years, making room for Petra Vlhova's hat-trick who, with today's second place, had to relinquish the scepter but is always there in any case , to the sixth podium in the season without winning.
And another top 3 comes for Anna Swenn Larsson, more than a month after the first hurray of her career in Killington.
All the spotlights and attention, however, naturally go to Queen Mikaela, who commented on this seal number 51 in slalom after the race, to the microphones of the FIS house.
