Women's European Cup: first descent in Val di Fassa and success of the very young Austrian, for just one cent over Juliana Suter. The best blues seventh and eighth, but an excellent team performance arrives.

The three days of competitions at Passo San Pellegrino has begun and Italy is there, with a women's team that defended itself well in the first of the three events of the European Cup by Ski Team Fassa, in the splendid setting of “La VolatA ".
The descent number 1 of the continental circuit for this 2021/22 season rewards Austrian expectations but it is a very young, the 2000 class Emily Schoepf, to climb for the first time on a podium at these levels, winning immediately after having already signed the best time in one of the two tests yesterday. The Swiss Juliana Suter was mocked for just one cent, with Germany placing Katrin Hirtl-Stanggassinger in third place, only 18 cents behind.
And perhaps the two main favorites remain down from the podium, namely Christina Ager (4th) and Delia Durrer (5th), then there is really a lot of blue with many positive notes among the sprinters of the future. The 22-year-old from Fassana, fresh from the very serious injury of last season, gives herself an 8th to remember on her home snow, and maybe already improve on Monday in the second race (and on Tuesday there will be the super-g). And then again Elena Dolmen excellent tenth, in front of Teresa Runggaldier (11 ^), Giulia Albano (13 ^), with Sara Allemand (16 ^), Valentina Cillara Rossi (17 ^), Heloise Edifizi (19 ^), Sofia Pizzato ( 21 ^), Carlotta Da Canal (22 ^), Elisa Schranzhofer (23 ^), Federica Sosio (27 ^) and Carlotta Welf (29 ^) to complete the string of blue in the points.
