At Levi the conditions are at the top, with another cross-over carried out on Thursday before the closing of the works today, with the various teams that have moved to the neighboring locations for finishing in view of the races on Saturday and next Sunday (same schedules for women and men, with 1 ^ run scheduled at 10.15 and the second at 13.15).
Who prepared the opening slalom in Levi, among the big expectations in a week at the starting gate, is a Petra Vlhova eager for redemption after the 14th place in the giant on Rettenbach: the Slovak champion is not yet at the top after a complicated summer preparation, also in training in recent days has accused an ankle problem due to a fork. However, the giant champion worked best, among other things alongside in some cases of Henrik Kristoffersen, and she is ready to challenge the very favorite Mikaela Shiffrin, who instead prepared herself in various specialties (with a couple of days dedicated to slalom) at Copper Mountain, already thinking about the races at Killington and Lake Louise.
In Scandinavia, Wendy Holdener trained on the Swedish snows of Kabdalis, while the returning Katharina Gallhuber worked in Levi and waits for compatriot Katharina Liensberger in Lapland, who will return to compete after the chaos related to materials and the forced absence of Soelden. Among the women who could aim for the podium in the first season of specialty, pay attention to Anna Swenn-Larsson, fresh from her best career season and given in good shape.
