On her Instagram account, Tina Weirather has announced that she wants to concentrate more on descent and superG and, although she does not explicitly say so, suggests that tomorrow's Sölden, where she will start with the number 19, will be the last World Cup giant of his career.

After that I will see if I enter other giants in my calendar, as I will mainly prepare for the next stage of the speed.I am very grateful and proud of the 6 podiums and the 25 places in the top 15 in the specialty but it is time to put all my energy on the superG and on the descent ".
With that "I'll see if you put other giants on my calendar" the 29-year-old from Liechtenstein leaves open a tiny porcina but everything suggests a goodbye to the specialty tomorrow on Rettenbach. Tina will compete in his 66th race in the World Cup wide doors 13 years after the first one in Sölden where he also won the third place in 2015 in the race won by Federica Brignone.
His six podiums in the World Cup in giant conquered them between 2013 and 2016 even winning in Val d'Isère on December 22, 2013 and winning a second and four third places and finishing fifth in the final ranking of specialties of 2016.
