Lindsey Vonn: "It '' a start d & rsquo; perfect year. You know, I had a lot of confidence after Lake Louise and then in Val d''Is & egrave; re seemed to have lost some' 'of the trust after I finished off in down, cos & Igrave; I got home. I had a good break and now I'm back full of energy. I feel really good mentally and physically, and I think I proved in the races this weekend. I just hope I can continue in this direction , keep the momentum going and I hope to continue winning. It helped me to have competed here many times, and I know technically where I need to speed & agrave; and lower & egrave; always more & ugrave; important and I think that both today and yesterday l & Igrave ; I skied very well, and I am very happy. You know, to win twice in a weekend & egrave; fantastic and it IS the 'perfect start to the new year. I'm not focused on the general classification at this time. It' 'too early . I'm just focused on winning. I want to win more & ugrave; races as I can, and I think if I can do that I put & ograve; in a good position for the overall title. "
Lara Gut: "I'm happy to be back to ski well in super-G. Located in Lake Louise, the 'unique super-G that we had, I skied so terrible, so I'm happy to be back doing what they can do. Of course I made a big mistake and lost a lot of time from dall''ultimo intermediate to the finish, but this IS skiing and & egrave; better to be second with a mistake than trying to win but you have no idea what it is success. On this I can work & rdquo ;.
