Aksel Lund Svindal: "Plan to be at the start in Lake Louise, allowing knee"

There is still no certainty that Aksel Lund Svindal's knee may be ready enough to continue his career or even start the next season.

After the end of the last one he considered the hypothesis of the withdrawal but in April he decided to continue. Svindal's plan, however, is to be at the start in Lake Louise in late November: "Yes, the plan is this, especially mentally, if it were not so I should immediately stop the workouts. And there is no alternative when the decision is made "says Svindal, who will turn 36 on the next day of Boxing Day. The final decision will be taken during the Copper Mountain training sessions that all teams do before the Lake Louise races. Aksel trained differently during the spring and summer because his knee did not withstand the heavy workloads and during the preparation in Chile the situation was worrying, now it has improved as it has not been for a long time. "It will take a while to understand how much I can train and how much I can physically reinforce myself. The answers will give me my right knee - says Svindal -.
