The 24-year-old from South Tyrol, from this year with a permanent position in the super-g of CdM, fell badly today in Val d''Isère. Fracture has been excluded for now, but the situation remains to be monitored.

We all shivered, with that very hard impact on the ground, the helmet flew off and that pain in the right knee held strong, so much so that we could not go down on our own legs towards the Oreiller-Killy parterre.
The super-g of Val d''Isère, for Alexander Prast, ended up on a toboggan and then in the hospital, but fortunately the first diagnosis could (it is good to use the conditional) rule out problems with the crusader as was immediately feared .
The examinations on the articulation of the blue showed a blunt-distortion trauma to the right knee; the x-rays carried out did not reveal any fractures, but Prast will still remain at the French medical center for further examinations of the situation and, obviously, will not take part in Sunday's descent.
A start to the season, hoping to save the second part, all uphill (and there had already been a small hand injury, during the November training sessions in Cervinia) for the 24 year old from South Tyrol who, with so much effort and great results in the European Cup, he has won a permanent place for all the super-gs of this 2020/21 World Cup.
