The winner of Soelden confesses a few hours after the first seasonal slalom: from winter spent in the Salzburg region to the dream of succeeding Luc Alphand.

Many already indicate it as the main favorite for the general World Cup, after Marcel Hirscher's retirement and, a fortiori, for the convincing success in the inaugural giant on the Rettenbach.
Alexis Pinturault gave a nice interview to Alexander Hofstetter, on the columns of the "Kronen Zeitung", directly from Levi where, on Sunday morning, other heavy points will be played already thinking about the fight for the crystal ball. Much of the hopes of the 28-year-old from Courchevel will pass from the slalom, given that the number of specialty appointments will be 12 and, at least on paper, the most awaited rival, Henrik Kristoffersen, is precisely among the rapid gates that can and must make a difference.
"It's like a long marathon, everything was perfect in Soelden, but it was only the beginning - the words of Alexis, who would like to interrupt a fast that for France lasts from the 1996/97 season, when the General Cup went to Luc Alphand - Now the Pinturault Team is complete, a special care for me that is decisive at these levels â€.
The transalpine multipurpose has received, as it has been known since last summer, a further support from the French federation, from the Red Bull personal sponsor and from a house like Head that has supported it for many years. In essence, it is the same scheme used by Henrik Kristoffersen and, throughout his golden age, by Marcel Hirscher. It is no coincidence that Alexis has been living in Altenmarkt since last winter (in the summer, on the other hand, the family settled on the shores of Lake Annecy, ed), in order to train better both physically and on the track, given that within a few kilometers you can reach both Salzburg and Reiteralm.
"It would seem the life of a rock star, but it is not really so, with 100 thousand km between airplanes and cars around Europe, the United States and Asia," smiles his wife Romane, his personal press officer and of course always at his side in this great adventure to reach the dream of a lifetime, the absolute crystal ball.
"Hirscher showed us everything we need to be able to perform at the highest level in the entire span of a season - he still analyzes Pinturault referring to the former great rival - There are so many races, long and tiring journeys. We must not miss anything and have a staff of trust and quality ".
Regarding Levi's slalom, the French champion indicates two names that, in his opinion, are clearly favored over all: “Henrik Kristoffersen and Clément Noelâ€.
