The sixth race of the World Championships in St. Moritz will be the men's Alpine Combined.

COMBINED ALPINE MEN IN SEASON IN PROGRESS In the current season you have already played 2 Combine Alpine provided. In fact, it has already hosted three editions of the World Championships (1934, 1974 and 2003), one of the Olympic Games (1948) and the various stages of the World Cup; particularly since 1999 is pretty much regular event for the women's circuit. In all four editions of male Combined St.Moritz, namely the four trials that assigned as many world titles in the history of the sport. The considerable distance in terms of years between one race and the other made it impossible for anyone to conquer more than a medal, so we only report the list of podiums of these four tests. COMBINED ALPINE WORLD CUP MEN The Combined entered the global agenda since the second edition of Cortina d'Ampezzo, 1932. Since then, uniting all races regardless of the regulatory changes of which has been the subject over the years, 40 editions were held, with two men able to win as many as 3 titles, Marc Girardelli (Crans Montana in 1987, Vail 1989, and the Sierra Nevada in 1996) and Kjetil Andre Aamodt (Sestriere 1997 Beaver Creek in 1999 and St. Anton 2001). Aamodt is the leader on the Combined individual medal, matching the 3 gold 1 silver (Morioka 1993) and one bronze (St. Moritz 2003), while also boast Girardelli 4 medals (bronze in Morioka 1993) and Lasse Kjus (1 gold Morioka 1993 and three silvers in Sierra Nevada 1996, 1999 Beaver Creek and St. Moritz 2003). Italy has won a total of 6 medals at the World Cup in Combined. The only one to take home the gold was Gustav Thöni, riuscitoci on 2 occasions (Sapporo 1972 and Innsbruck 1976: in both cases the Combined was only of global significance although present in the Olympic program).
