The long week of Wengen, in all senses if we think of the over 4 km of track of the descent on the Lauberhorn, with its 2 and a half minutes (or almost) of race, will officially begin on Tuesday with the first of the three tests set towards the race queen of Saturday (fifth men's descent of the season), preceded on Friday by the combined. Appointment at 12.30, with 11 blues on the track and selection for some of them as happened also in the last appointment of Bormio: he will focus only on the combined Riccardo Tonetti, while alongside Dominik Paris (bib number 15 in tomorrow's test) we will see the return of Christof Innerhofer (number 9), who will try again after the test in Val Gardena and then decide whether to return to the race, in addition to Buzzi, Casse, Fill, Marsaglia, Cazzaniga (winner last Saturday in the European Cup in Wengen), Schieder, Guglielmo Bosca and Prast. There will be Mauro Caviezel, who had had to jump Bormio after the injury suffered in the parallel giant in Alta Badia, while France must clearly give up Adrien Theaux, who ended the season early, and will propose with numbers 31 and 32 in the test of tomorrow Muffat-Jeandet and Pinturault (followed by Meillard) in a combined perspective, in which Armand Marchant will also take part, on the track with the bib number 86 (the Belgian will be the last to start) and ready to play his chances also in this discipline after having amazed everyone with his great return in slalom.
