Kvitfjell is one of the most important ski resorts in Norway. In terms of podiums, Kroll is always first and second Eberharter always, however, at 5 the top three are also Lasse Kjus (2 wins, 1 second and 2 third places), while 4 with Cuche include Michael Walchhofer (1-2 -1) and two star players who however have never been able to triumph sull'Olympiabakken, Kristian Ghedina and Aksel Lund Svindal, both with 2 seconds and 2 third places.
Italy has got different satisfactions in the Kvitfjell downhill, although the victories they have arrived only 2, that of Werner Heel of 29 February 2008 - first in the career for the South Tyrol - and that of Dominik Paris of 12 March 2016. In fees are 12 podiums: said of the 4 Ghedina, Heel boasts other places 2/3, 3/2 and Peter Werner Perathoner Vitalini 1 second.
Of Vitalini are however remember the disappointment for not medal in the Games of 1994, when after dominating excessively suffered evidence the tension in the race thirteenth closing because of two serious mistakes in the upper part, and the victory gate of 1995, when he was in command after the descent of 37 athletes before the fog prevented the conclusion of a race that was not approved.
