Domme impregnable in the first of the two trainings towards Sunday's world championship descent. Only Franz remains on the second and a half of detachment: of course, it was the first approach for everyone, but the feeling really seems the right one.

A beast on the "Vertigo", capable of trimming huge gaps to all potential opponents on Sunday, when the queen race of these world championships will be staged in Cortina and the most awaited man will be him.
Dominik Paris really seems to have a great feeling with this track, as evidenced by yesterday's performance in super-g. Today, in the first of the two scheduled tests (Saturday the second), the blue champion dominated: of course, the novelty factor for everyone must be considered, for the first time ever on this track in a downhill version and enormous margins for the various Mayers, Feuz, Kriechmayr and company, but "Domme" launched a signal, making a gap for three quarters of the track (from 1''40 ", in the end not as short as it was said) and losing, as in super- g, a few tenths too many in the final dish.
The closest pursuer is Max Franz, second at 1 ”58 (the Carinthian is in great shape and this track could be very good for him), then we find Striedinger, fighting for a bib in view of the race, and Johan Clarey around to the second and eighty. Germany, after yesterday's silver, can smile because Sander (5th), Baumann (7th) and Dressen, tenth at 2 ”24 and with the desire to return to the race on Sunday, seem to be on the ball while it was pure study day for Matthias Mayer (2 ”31), Feuz (2” 40) and Kriechmayr (2 ”92), as well as for Christof Innerhofer who finished 3” 15 behind his teammate.
They pushed, also because there are two bibs to be assigned with four athletes in the race, Florian Schieder excellent 6th at 1 "99 from Paris, and Matteo Marsaglia 8th at 2" 13, while it was not an easy test for Emanuele Buzzi, 3 ”52 away, and Mattia Casse, just a cent ahead of Sappada.
