Three World Cup slalomists plus three more of the European Cup will go to Sweden next Sunday to prepare for Levi's men's slalom on Sunday 18 November.

The World Cup trio will be composed by Fabian Bacher, Stefano Gross and Manfred Moelgg, the European Cup one by Federico Liberatore, Simon Maurberger and the 18 year old Alex Vinatzer, silver of specialty at the last junior World Championships. The group will be played by sector manager Stefano Costazza and technician Daniele Simoncelli.
The team looks like this for Levi since it is precisely six places available for Italy in the World Cup specialty. Missing Giuliano Razzoli who evidently is still late in terms, as evidenced by the results below expectations in the continental cups of the southern hemisphere.
The training venue for the six Italians is Kabdalis, a tiny town in the Queens of Norrland, deep north of Sweden, just below the Arctic Circle. The group will train there until November 15 and then leave for Levi where four days later with the slalom there will finally be the opening of the men's World Cup.
