I am happy because in Soelden I started with an 8th place and I was not at 100%, today I am not complaining for the 7 cents that separate me from the podium, but for the error in the first heat.
It is an injection of confidence in view of the home races (the two giants of 19-20 December on the Gran Risa, in Alta Badia). I liked the track a lot today, it wasn't as icy as in other years and it was even more difficult than normal. This performance means that the month of training after Soelden, in which we did longer blocks of work than usual, paid off ”.
Alex Hofer, after the points result of Bansko, with the twenty-first place today has again obtained the best result in the World Cup. “It was my first call to the cup of the season and I'm happy with qualifying for the second heat, even if the track conditions were really excellent and I could have done a little more”.

Finally Riccardo Tonetti, bitter for that crash which cost an excellent placement, after the 13th of the first heat. “I made a mistake on the inside - the Bolzano driver commented - and I tried to let go of the curve, but I got inside the boot. The second heat I got off to a good start, I could have done something more from there on down, but that's the way it went. I take home a good first heat and from next week we will try to do better with home races ”.
