The first to go will be the Swiss Carlo Janka. Among the big favorites, Aksel Lund Svindal has chosen the bib number 5, Kjetil Jansrud 7, Peter Fill Dominik Paris on 9 and 11. These pectoral other Italian Christof Innerhofer 8, Mattia Casse 24, Emanuele Buzzi 33, Paolo Pangrazzi 49, Werner Heel 58 and Henri Battilani 59.
The race will take place on the Saslong, historic track created for the 1970 World Cup and has since remained constant in the calendar of the World Cup. Its length is 3446 meters, starting at an altitude of 2249 meters and arrive at an altitude of 1410 meters for a total vertical drop of 839 meters.
