From the opening giant in Tyrol, they will then spend four weeks to attend the first seasonal slalom, Sunday 24 November as usual in Levi. The next two weekends of Lake Louise and Beaver Creek dedicated to speed (with the customary final giant in Colorado) will precede the return to Europe for a classic calendar until the end of the year, passing through Val d''Isere, Val Gardena, l '' one-two in Alta Badia and the post-Christmas races in Bormio, which after the descent on the Stelvio finds the combined race. The relaunch of this specialty is among the most important notes linked to the change of the 2019/2020 Cup: each of the three Alpine combined, in fact, will take place with slalom heats in the opening and a super-g to follow, even in the cases of Wengen (where the combined descent has always run) and Hinterstoder. No parallel on 1 January, with Davos proposing to replace Oslo, and off with a January full of 6 slaloms; as known, in addition to the five traditional ones (Zagreb, Adelboden, Wengen, Kitz and Schladming), there is the Campiglio one, moved from December 22nd to January 8th 2020. The two Garmisch races will open a very rich month of February, without the World Cup and Olympics, with Chamonix back on the calendar with a slalom and a parallel giant (instead of descent and combined as in the original program), the Olympic speed pre in Yanqing, followed by the weekend of technical competitions in Japan, at Yuzawa-Naeba ( last time in the Cup 4 years ago). We will then go to Hinterstoder for super-g and combined, classic one-two with descent and super-g at Kvitfjell and parallel slalom in Stockholm on 10 March, before moving to Kranjska Gora for giant and a prelude to the Ampezzo finals, real test event thinking about the 2021 world championships. In total, as many as 12 slalom, 9 giant, 8 super-g and 10 descents, in addition to the 3 parallel ones (two PGS and one PSL) and the 3 Alpine combined.
