Overcast sky, but overall good conditions for the race that will open the Courchevel-Méribel World Cup finals, with the brand new “Eclipse” which will host, starting at 10.00, the decisive men's downhill for the specialty trophy.
There are four athletes in the running, even if objectively the fight seems restricted only to Beat Feuz and Aleksander Aamodt Kilde: 23 points to the advantage of the Norwegian, who in turn has 84 on Matthias Mayer and 88 on Dominik Paris. They will all start with low numbers, also because the snow is not so compact and there could be a bit of deterioration, so much so that Feuz opted for 1, followed by Kilde with 3, Mayer (5) and Paris (7) , however, in a very open race considering the particular slope and the results of the tests.
