Marcel Hirscher, winner: "The first race did not go as I hoped, the track was difficult, but I never thought of being so far behind. In the second I was like, okay, after eight second places this year I want to win, to do that I have to play a round rock & roll, and I stuck to the maximum. However I did not think that was enough for the win, Dave has skied very well and had a great advantage. It's still nice to have him and Alexander at my side on the podium, finally some new faces. "
Dave Ryding, the second: "When I crossed the line and I saw that I was second I celebrated like a victory. Marcel was unbeatable, but to be on the podium with him is a dream come true. I was a little 'tense, but I tried to ski the best of my ability and that's exactly what I managed to do. This is the result of many hard workouts and two runs where I finally made no mistakes, and then get it here in Austria in front of all these wonderful fans is really fantastic. "
Alexander Khoroshilov: "I'm happy. When I arrived I did not think to finish third, detachment from Marcel was too high, but then missed Neureuther and Gross is released, so here I am on the podium even though I have not played my best race. What it means to me this third place? Sixty points ... ".
