The king of Pinturault always combined: domination in Hinterstoder, Tonetti still mocked

The Frenchman finishes a second in Caviezel, with Kilde third and always leader of the general (while Alexis takes the crystal ball in the discipline). The blue again fifth, two tenths from that podium that does not want to arrive ...

The king of the Alpine combined is always him, Alexis Pinturault. The 28th overall victory in the World Cup is an authentic French domination in the third and last season's specialty race, staged on Hinterstoder's mush. A very complicated race in terms of weather, but the 28-year-old from Courchevel managed the super-g race as a champion, closed in 2nd place, to then dominate in slalom and close with 99 cents ahead of Mauro Caviezel, who had preceded him 23 cents in the morning. For the Swiss, this is the tenth podium in the World Cup without winning (with six second places, repeating the one obtained yesterday in super-g). Riccardo Tonetti, once again, eats his hands: after the 4th time in super-g, the first podium of his career seemed to be one step away, but the slalom heats of the Bolzano player was too shrewd and two tenths were missing to hook the third place taken home by Aleksander Aamodt Kilde, 1 ”25 away from Pinturault and thus able to maintain the leadership in the general, now with 34 points of advantage on the transalpine that tomorrow will go to the assault in giant. For Tonetti, preceded by 4 cents also by Jansrud (4th), also the mockery of the missed podium in the final specialty classification, conquered by Pinturault in front of Kilde and Mayer, today sixth ex-aequo with Muffat-Jeandet (Schwarz 8th at their shoulders) and then at 140 points like the blue, but in front for the most victories (one to zero). What about Henrik Kristoffersen? Eventually he takes himself home
