The winter season is far away, but the men of the International Federation have begun inspections at the various competition sites.

Among these, in view of the men's World Cup slalom moved to the evening of Wednesday 8 January 2020, compared to the now standard date of 22 December, also a temple like the 3Tre of Madonna di Campiglio.
Less than six months from the appointment for one of the great classics of the circuit (that of the 2019/2020 season will be the 66th edition of the race on the Miramonti gully), the inspection of the FIS gave positive results, with a technical briefing together to the Organizing Committee chaired by Lorenzo Conci. The Chief Race Director of the men's CDM, Markus Waldner, along with race director Emmanuel Couder, with Tullio Serafini (president of APT Campiglio Dolomiti) to lead the international delegation.
"This year we face a new experience, the placement in January puts the 3Tre in the month of the great slalom classics - explained Waldner, given that in just over three weeks it will also compete in Zagreb, Adelboden, Wengen, Kitz and Schladming - and it is a place that Campiglio can fully occupy. Of course, there will be some more difficulties due to the post Christmas period, but we are sure that the response of the public will be important as always. We believe that even from this point of view 3Tre represents an example for how it has been able to involve true ski enthusiasts, this does not always happen in big events. We as FIS want events with more enthusiasm and ... less alcohol ".
Few changes on the 3Tre, which the FIS technicians have viewed with the track manager Adriano Alimonta. "We only think of a few minor tweaks both at the top and at the end, with the sole aim of making the race even more technical and exciting," explained Emmanuel Couder. This season, however, the race will repeat the traditional times, with the game starting at 5.45 pm and the second at 8.45 pm (last year it was anticipated by two hours for television needs).
The headquarters of the event will be moved to the PalaCampiglio, while the press center will remain in the Culture Hall. "A very serene and positive meeting - said Lorenzo Conci, President of the Organizing Committee, at the end of the inspection - With the friends of the FIS the harmony is always perfect. This season we have a somewhat more difficult date, but we will still be able to arouse great interest also thanks to the 3TreOnTour promotional commitment that will start in mid-September and this year will also touch on some prestigious international venues ".
