The blue voices on the eve of the first Streif. Inner: "Feeling ok". Paris: "A little better ..."

Four Italians in the top ten of the Kitzbuehel sprint test, on Friday the first descent with many unknowns related to the weather. "Inner", today in front of everyone, is confident while the other Azzurri have some more doubts.

A sprint test to close the two days of official training, with the start lowered up to the Alte Schneise (due to the high wind) which clearly made today's challenge at the Streif very special. Christof Innerhofer, however, was already very fast yesterday (4th) in the full test and today he set the best time in front of Johan Clarey. "Certainly my fitness condition is growing as well as my feeling - analyzes the South Tyrolean champion at Physi.org - I have arranged a few set-up and material things, in fact, and from Wengen onwards I have a '' another gear. I have fun when I ski, I make good turns and I have the right sensations: it's nice to ski like this. The weather will be what it will be but it won't bother me, in fact, today I tried to attack to get used to the bad visibility and it seems to me that he did well. It will certainly be a different race and we will need to ski even more aggressive. I have the right feeling and therefore I will go to everything as always ". On Friday, from 11.30, the first of the two descents (the second has been rescheduled for Sunday, at 13.30), with the unknowns related to the weather and the possibility that more fresh snow will arrive. Yesterday Dominik Paris paid almost 3 seconds from Kilde, today he was there with the others, 5th at 1 "07 from Innerhofer, but smiles only partially:" It went a bit better, even if we started from below, not from the start original and changes a bit 'everything including speed. It was not easy today to understand if things were going well; yesterday I struggled from top to bottom, I made a mistake twice losing speed and I couldn't ski well, but I know where to go and I hope to do well in the race. Certainly the visibility is not that great even if the bottom is good, nice and frozen. If it snows you can't get out of the track, but let's wait to see tomorrow ”. Mattia Casse, 4th in this second training: “The form is growing again: we are trying to find a good feeling. The track has shortened but it is still the Streif. We are all attached, Inner has made a little more difference: let's see in the next few days. I don't know if the snow will be a problem but we will be ready for anything ”. Matteo Marsaglia, second yesterday, suffered the shortened test: “Today I didn't enjoy myself, as in the past, starting from so low: there is never much speed. I certainly didn't force much, I rested for the next few days. Yesterday I did a good test, so I have quite clear ideas for the race, I hope that time will help us at least to start if not from the top at least a little higher. Today was the lowest possibility of starting and we hope it does not happen again because it distorts the beauty of the track. I like the Streif very much, I was very keen on these two weeks and I hope the weather will help us to have the track in perfect conditions for the first test ”.
