The thrill of the “Stelvio”, on a day of finally clear skies and with an exceptional track condition, as in the occasion of the tests last weekend and after the postponements and the super-G staged yesterday.
The Bormio descent, the toughest of the World Cup, welcomes the jet men for the third seasonal specialty race, starting at 11.30 with a clear favorite; Ryan Cochran-Siegle, in fact, dominated 24 hours ago, conquering his first success in the maximum circuit and had already impressed in the two downhill trainings. The American will start with bib n ° 7, while the King of Stelvio will have 15: we are talking about Dominik Paris, of course, who has taken this descent five times (the last four from 2017 to 2019), but obviously he is not still in top condition as revealed in super-g.
Domme will need a masterpiece, with the same Mayer, Kriechmayr, Kilde (first of the big players at the start with 5), Feuz to try to seize a success that is worth a season.

There will be five other Azzurri protagonists on the Stelvio: the first to start will be Christof Innerhofer (No. 8), very disappointed by the super-g on Tuesday, then after Paris we will see Matteo Marsaglia with 29, Lele Buzzi with 32, Davide Cazzaniga with 38 and Pietro Zazzi, bib 51 and last at the start of today's descent.
