Ideal conditions on the Lauberhorn, for the second alpine combined of the men's World Cup season, at the opening of the highly anticipated weekend in Wengen, which will then continue on Saturday with the longest downhill of the circuit (and some unknowns related to the weather) and Sunday with the slalom.
Start at 10.30 with the run of descent, clearly shortened starting above the jump of the Hundschopf and 1''45 "of test: there is the possibility for downhill skiers to make more difference compared to the super-g seen in Bormio, in view of a slalom race (set at 14.00) which will still be tough, but will see them start in front on a track that, compared to the Stelvio, could also yield a little more and favor the various Paris, Kilde and Mayer, who could prove the references in speed.
The Norwegian will open with the number 1, while "Domme" will be at the start with the bib number 20 and has the chance to shorten in the overall World Cup standings, which could see Alexis Pinturault jump again (bib number 7 downhill) , who remains the favorite but will have to be very good at defending the Lauberhorn.

In addition to Paris, there are four other blues involved in today's combined. Riccardo Tonetti dreams of the first podium in his career, already 4th in Bormio and at the start downhill with bib number 5, then with 33 we will see Guglielmo Bosca, with 41 Alexander Prast and with 43 Florian Schieder.
