In the second round of the slalom the Reggiano and Brianza will take part, 27th and 28th after having disposed of Covid. Between releases and the very high times of Moelgg and Gross, the balance for now is very meager.

A half disaster, among other things on the track designed by the head coach of the Azzurri, Jacques Theolier, in a truly nightmare first heat for the slalom Italy in Zagreb. Of course, the budgets will be made at the end of the race, but only two qualified with the 27th and 28th time trial, among other two athletes such as Giuliano Razzoli and Tommaso Sala just returned after finally having negative results at Covid, and with very little training in the legs (only one, yesterday, for the Olympic champion), is really too little. We bet strong, very strong on Alex Vinatzer, who has just returned from two amazing races and here with sweet memories after the 3rd place last year; it was possible to evaluate very little of the test of the Val Gardena, who had a good start before getting on after 15 seconds of the race. Discreet Simon Maurberger, but the error on the final wall cost an almost certain qualification, definitely badly Manfred Moelgg and Stefano Gross (who now risks big in the WCSL), excluded from the 30s without particular errors and with a track that, even with the their pectorals, allowed and how to make time. Too bad for Fede Liberatore, who seemed in the race to be able to do it, but made a naive mistake by backing off at the beginning of the floor, and then here is Razzoli (on his magical track, that of the first podium and the first victory in CdM before the 2010 Olympics) and Sala who made it for a few cents, finishing respectively 2 ”34 and 2” 35 from Clément Noel who leads with a margin after the first heat. The second, on an Austrian track, will start at 15.30 and the two Azzurri are called to at least limit the damage by bringing home some points.
