The Swiss-Ski calls for the first weekend of CdM entirely dedicated to technical disciplines. "Odes" in defense of the red bib in giant, Loic will aim for the podium in both races.

It will be a very important race, the giant from Val d''Isère scheduled for Saturday on the Face de Bellevarde, for Marco Odermatt who will try to stretch in the World Cup standings, wearing the red bib won in Soelden.
On the very tough queen track of the Critérium de la Première Neige, the Nidwalden phenomenon already did well from a very young age, in the last edition held in 2018, with a nice 7th place. "Odi" will lead Switzerland in the opening of the transalpine weekend dedicated to technical disciplines, with seven gigantists in the race and Loic Meillard who will aim for the podium in both appointments, while Gino Caviezel will try to approach the top 3 among the wide doors as in the opening on the Rettenbach.
The team for Saturday's challenge will be completed by Justin Murisier, Thomas Tumler, Daniele Sette and a Cédric Noger galvanized by the victory in the second giant of the European Cup in Zinal.
The red-cross call-ups for Sunday's slalom are also official, where there will be 9 members of Swiss-Ski: there will be the seasonal debut of Ramon Zenhaeusern, while Daniel Yule has already competed in Soelden and, in the first appointment between the narrow poles, will aim straight for the top after the disappointments of last year. With them here is Meillard, but also Luca Aerni, Sandro Simonet, Tanguy Nef, Marc Rochat, Reto Schmidiger and Noel Von Gruenigen.
