The World Cup rankings after the descent of Garmisch-Partenkirchen: the recovery of Wengen essential to keep the games open for the specialty cup, in that case there would still be three races to be played.

The triumph of Dominik Paris on the Bavarian snows, in the sixth round of the downhill season, keeps the blue jet in the running for a cup of discipline that now seemed only a business between Beat Feuz and Matthias Mayer after the Kitzbuehel races.

A crucial point, however, will be the recovery or not of the second descent canceled at Wengen; we aim for Kvitfjell, for a double appointment on the Norwegian track where, in turn, the three rulers of this discipline have triumphed, but there are no certainties and then only the final race in Lenzerheide will remain.
In WCSL, Christof Innerhofer enters the top ten and for the world championship race in Cortina he will choose his odd bib number from 1 to 19 for eighth, while the general classification clearly sees Alexis Pinturault still largely in command, but the 8th place today and the possibility of doing very well tomorrow in super-g (where the transalpine will not compete), lead Marco Odermatt to second place in front of Schwarz and potentially in the area 200 points behind the one who remains the favorite for the "coppone".
