A heats of super-g that saw quite small detachments, before the total slalom battle scheduled at 14.00.
The first combined of the season, which closes the triptych on the Stelvio of Bormio, is led by Aleksander Aamodt Kilde with only 3 cents of margin on a again positive Dominik Paris, albeit on a decidedly angled track that keeps the blue in full swing for ... all.
The new formula that does not include the reversal of the 30 ("Domme" will therefore start second in the slalom) for the challenge between the rapid gates, opens the range of possible favorites for success, even if two technical skiers such as Loic Meillard and Alexis Pinturault will leave with all eyes on him. The Swiss was extraordinary, limiting the gap to only 77 cents (fifth place), the Frenchman did his (with the injury to the adductor of the left thigh as a memory from Alta Badia) to exactly two tenths of the rival and in 8th place.
In third place after the quick test we therefore find Vincent Kriechmayr, 35 cents from Kilde and capable of getting by in slalom, with Nils Allegre fourth at half a second.
Positive test by Riccardo Tonetti, currently in the top ten area with 1 â€60 behind the summit and a good starting position for the slalom.
